Passionate about culture and visual identity, I became a designer who finds inspiration in people: their problems, customs, beliefs, and dreams are the source of my creative process. Understanding deeply the stakeholders of a project and its cultural context is key to the development of every design solution.
I have followed studies in visual communication design at Javeriana University in Cali, Colombia. Later on, in 2015, I moved to Paris where I got a deeper knowledge of the culture of design thinking at the d.school Paris and Stanford University. Being immersed in this city which hosts cultures from all around the world incited me to follow a master’s in cultural innovation at the University of Paris.
Nowadays, in the interest of creating cross-culture projects and contributing to a social and environmental positive impact, I co-founded two structures. Hact, an innovation bureau that looks forward to organisational transformation through social impact projects and human-centered design. And Join a Town, an NGO that brings together an ecosystem of social entrepreneurs and individuals willful of sustainable development within vulnerable communities.
In the pursuit of exploring my creativity and capacity for reflection, I continue working as a freelance designer, illustrator, and photographer.
